We carry on the virtues, arts, and skills of the family. |
Each of us comes from families. Families with stories to tell, love to share, and lessons to learn. Jesus has a family, too. When we became His, He embraced us as one of His own; His family. Ladies, this Fall we will hear the stories of your adopted ancestors; Eve, Rahab, and Ruth. We will discover how their choices effected history and what their lives mean to us today. Our journey into our “roots” experience will be flavored with a Hawaiian theme. We will be spending the day in small groups (o’hana), visiting three homes (hale); one for each of our ancestors. In each hale, our ladies will be creating a Hawaiian craft, cooking our “local” lunch, and learning a bit about Hawaiian culture. September 20, 2008 8 am to 5:45 pm beginning at the Event's Pavilion $30 Please bring your check made out to Grace Community Church to the church office. * are required |
His unchanging plan has always been to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. And this gave Him great pleasure. Ephesians 1:5 |
